The valley connects.

Find a partner for tomorrow's outing, share a ride to Geneva, sell the gear that never fit, find seasonaire housing. Tap any post to see the detail — or add your own. By locals, visitors warmly welcome.

Six ways to plug in.

Partner finder

Need a partner for the Cosmiques, a ski tour, a trail run? Post your plan and find someone with the same idea — and a matching level.

Post a partner request →

Geneva shares

Drop a seat or grab one. Locals heading to the airport, the city, or anywhere in the valley share rides here — not across twelve scattered groups.

Gear classifieds

Boots that don't fit, the skis you upgraded from. Locals selling to locals, free to list — no marketplace fees.

Housing board

Seasonaires, students, year-rounders — winter and summer housing posted by locals, for locals. The board that cuts out the speculation.

New in the valley?

A starter pack for anyone arriving — how things actually work here. Paperwork, doctors, where to ski your first day, who to call for what.

Give back

Local clean-ups, mountain rescue support, valley charities and community projects worth your time — gathered in one feed.

How your privacy works

Connect safely, share only what you choose.

A community board only works if people feel safe using it. Here's exactly how Cham is designed to protect you — the model we follow, in plain language.

Your contact details stay hidden

When you post, your email and phone are never shown publicly. Other members reach you through a relay — they message you via Cham, and only if you reply does a direct line open. Your raw details are never on the page.

You choose your display name

Posts show a first name and a village (e.g. "Léa B. · Argentière"), never your full identity. Enough to feel human and local; not enough to identify or trace you.

Verified, but not exposed

Accounts are verified once (a confirmed email, like a small village knowing who's who) to keep out spam and bad actors — but that verification is never published. Trust without exposure.

You're in control

Edit or delete any post at any time. Block a member and they can't contact you. Report anything off, and a named human moderator reviews it — typically within 24 hours.

No tracking, no selling

Cham doesn't sell data, run targeted ads, or track you around the web. Posts auto-expire when they're no longer relevant (a ride, once the date passes) so nothing lingers forever.

Meet sensibly

For gear sales or first meetings, we nudge people to meet in public valley spots in daylight, and to tell a friend. Mountain partnerships especially: be honest about your level, and check each other out before committing to anything serious.

THIS IS THE PRIVACY MODEL CHAM IS BUILT AROUND. THE CURRENT PAGE IS A WORKING PREVIEW — POSTS YOU ADD ARE STORED ONLY IN YOUR OWN BROWSER FOR THIS SESSION AND ARE VISIBLE TO NO ONE ELSE. A LIVE VERSION WOULD ADD THE RELAY MESSAGING, VERIFICATION AND MODERATION DESCRIBED ABOVE.
